How to keep your remedy working
Coffee: Avoid all forms of coffee. This includes decaf coffee,
mocha, chocolate deserts made with coffee, coffee ice cream and yogurt, coffee liquor and kahula. Also avoid any face creams
or sunscreens that contain coffee extract, Chai tea, Green tea, Yerba mate, Almond Sunset tea and Teecino are acceptable substitutes.
Beinga round the aroma of coffee does not de-activate the remedy.
Herbs: Avoid all Chinese herbs, Cyclone Cider, Pau d’ arco, gotu
kola and sage. Beverages to avoid include Good earth Tea, ginseng sodas and teas. You will be informed at the end of your
first visit if you need to avoid mint.
Aromatic Substances and Fumes: Avoid latex and oil based paints, camphor, tea
tree oil, rosemary (food use is OK), pine, sage, the smell of marijuana, eucalyptus, and all mentholated products. You must
check shampoos, lip balms, lotions, message oils and throat logenzes for these substances. These include Altoids, Ricola and
other mentholated cough drops, mouthwashes, candy canes, Vicks, Tiger Balm, Ben-Gay, Noxzema and calamine lotion. Avoid pine
household cleaners. Avoid insecticides such as flea bombs, roach powders, insect repellant lotions or sprays, Avoid contact with new carpeting and floor refinishing
products. Avoid sweat lodges where sage is burned in close proximity.
Prescription and Nonprescription Drugs: Avoid medications such as: antibiotics, allergy
shots, TB tests, flu shots, immunizations, any form of testosterone. Also avoid mega-doses of vitamins, medicinal herbs and
acute homeopathic medications, unless prescribed. Natural hormones, birth control pills, antidepressants, Ritalin, Tylenol,
Advil, Aleve and aspirin will not interfere with the remedy. Please consult your doctor before discontinuing any medication.
Recreational Drugs: Avoid all recreational drugs including marijuana,
(even the smell of marijuana will interfere with the remedy) LSD, Opium, Mescaline, Peyote mushrooms, Cocaine, Amphetamines
and Tranquilizers. Alcohol is all right in small doses, but daily use and over 3 glasses in one day will de-activate the remedy.
X-Rays: Barium X-rays and other radioactive X-rays and ultrasound should
be avoided. Ultrasoun teeth cleaning used in some dentist offices will de-activate the remedy. The exceptions are MRI’s
, regular X-rays, ultrasound used in pregnancy and mammograms which are compatible.
Dental Work: Dental
drilling, ultrasonic teeth cleaning, and the use of anesthetics can neutralize the remedy. If you need to have dental work
done, let our office know as soon as possible. Normal cleaning and fluoride applications are all right. Do not have ultrasonic
cleaning or take daily fluoride pills.
Mineral Hot Springs, Hair Treatments: Avoid sulfurous mineral baths and springs, and
hair coloring and permanents for the first month after a big dose. If your remedy is Sulfur, avoid hot springs indefinitely.
Hot tubs and saunas are fine, as long as there are no eucalyptus odors present.
Electric Blankets: Do not use electric blankets. The bed can
be warmed with an electric blanket, but turn it off before entering the bed. Water bed heaters and electric car seat heaters
are all right. Ozone air purifiers are also compatible.
Travel: Do not plan an airplane flight for the first month following a
big dose. Please inform our office if you need to take a flight in this time
frame.
Other Treatments: Refrain from:
Acupuncture, Flower essences (with the exception of Rescue Remedy), combination
homeopathic remedies, Cell salts, Aromatherapy with pine, eucalyptus, sage or rosemary essential oils, Acceptable therapies
include Acupressure, Osteopathy, Chiropractic, Rolfing, Reiki, massage, magnets, meditation, lavender oil and rose oil.

Please note that once a big dose is de-activated, the symptoms can relapse, and it
may take time to get the case back on track again.
